Reservation and Cabin Policies
Deposit & Cancellation Policy

*50% deposit required on all reservations. Non-refundable if reservation is cancelled. Your verbal authorization to use your credit card as a deposit by phone indicates your compliance with the above reservation policy. The balance of the cabin is due upon arrival. We kindly ask that the remainder be paid by Interac, E-transfer or cash, if possible.

Guests who cancel less than 72 hours prior to scheduled arrival date, or who do not arrive on the scheduled arrival date will be responsible for the balance of the rental fee unless the booking is resold. We are a small family destination resort and our ability to rebook a cabin at short notice is difficult.

Reservations of 2 cabins or more under the same name & credit card deposit, must be paid, in full, 1 month before the arrival date.

No refunds for late arrivals or early departures.

Cash, Interac, Visa, MasterCard accepted. If paying the deposit by e-Transfer, the full amount must be paid up front when reserving the cabin.
General Policies

Check in time 4:00-7:00 pm, check out time 11:00 am. Early check in and late check out must be arranged well in advance, depending on availability, with a fee. Late Check in after 8 pm (spring & fall) and 9 pm (summer) not available due to safety concerns.

Maximum 6 people permitted in all cabins including children & infants. Maximum 4 people in RVs, including children & infants.

Minimum 2 night stay May, June, September, & October.

Weekly bookings only in July & August, unless we get a sudden cancellation that cannot be booked to someone else.

Victoria, Labour Day, and Thanksgiving long weekends booked for 3 nights or more only.

Rates do not include applicable taxes. Prices quoted in Canadian Dollars.

Tents and campers are not permitted outside the cabins. Cooking tents permitted over picnic tables only. 1 tent permitted beside RVs with a fee.

Loud music, obnoxious noise, and use of excessive profanity will not be welcome at any time of day, however there is a general quiet time of 10pm and ask that music, conversation and noises be turned down at this time until 10am the next day (people need a chance to sleep in!) Please be respectful of other guests during your stay.

There is a limit of 1 vehicle parked beside each cabin & trailer; they must be parked in such a way that there is access for emergency vehicles. For all other vehicles, there is a time limit of ½ hour to permit unloading, and then all vehicles must be parked in the customer parking area. There is a limit of 2 vehicles per cabin on WLR property. Any other vehicles must park in the public parking area at the government campground. All vehicles on our property must be registered with WLR staff, including those of your day guests.
Pet Policy

Quiet, socialized dogs are welcome with permission and a cleaning fee of 1-3 nights $50, 4+ days $100 (weekly booking), and must be arranged for at the time of booking. Maximum 2 dogs permitted/cabin.

You must keep your dog on a leash and under control at all times when on WLR property.

Dogs may not bark constantly out of respect for your neighbours!

Guest are required to clean up after their pets, including when you are outside.

You may not leave your dog unattended in the cabin for long periods of time.

Cats are not permitted due to severe allergies amongst the cleaning staff!

Guests who do not respect our pet policies will be asked to pay an extra cleaning fee upon departure.
Guest Policy

Guests are welcome at any time during your stay as long as WLR Policies are respected, including cabin capacity. Please note that there is an extra charge for overnight guests. They may use WLR property and watercraft ONLY when they are with you or your family, and may not monopolize said equipment over other paying guests.

All guests are required to register before proceeding to any cabin. Vehicles are to be parked in the guest parking area.

Please note that the person whose name the cabin is reserved under will be held responsible for any damages or actions of their guests.
